In 1994, sensing a growing need in the market and among his own acquaintances for an Internet presence, Chris Anderson founded c.labs company, an Internet presence design and development company serving users and small businesses alike. With c.labs, he began providing his computer and technology skills to a growing number of clients.
c.labs has become a rock of creativity in an otherwise topsy-turvy world of the ever-changing Internet and continues to provide reliability to the computing community.
Meet Chris Anderson
Chris Anderson is a seasoned design, marketing and technology entrepreneur who has co-founded and launched several successful businesses, including c.labs.
In 1980 Chris co-founded the 32nd Parallel, a manufacturing business creating and producing remote-control submersible vehicles. Though initially designing an array of models for leisurely jet-setters, a division of 32nd Parallel, Scale Effects, was engaged to design and produce vehicles for the entertainment industry. This lead to its being recognized with an Emmy Award in 1987 for Special Visual Effects in the TV Movie, “War And Remembrance.” By the end of the decade however, Chris sold his interest in the business to his partners after which he was able to devote full-time to computer consultation.
Chris attended California Polytechnic St. University, San Luis Obispo, studying Electronics Engineering and Marine Biology. He is a father and lives in Redondo Beach, California. In addition to his passion for technology and being an entrepreneur, Chris enjoys building models, either wooden, plastic or making dioramas. He also especially enjoys spending free-time with his family, in the backyard barbecuing, stopping to pursue his photography, painting, reading science fiction, and traveling the country.
